Backdated Salaries should only go on Payslips as Gross

A new feature has been added for Backdated salaries where if you choose to backdate the tax and NI liabilities as well the value added to the payslip is a net amount. This is completely unhelpful for employees who wish to be able to understand their payslips and check the correct backdated wage has been added to their record. There is also complete ambiguity as to how these payments are reported to HMRC or confirmation of the figure that needs to be sent over as an addition. This needs to be put processed through as a gross figure with recognisable tax/NI/SL etc & pension liabilities.

Describe the Challenge Too ambiguous for Payroll Departments, HR and Employees to understand what has been adjusted on the system or on the payslips.
