Student Loan Calculations

Student Loans should be calculated on "Income" according to HMRC. This is defined in slightly different ways for Tax and NI calculations by HMRC but both definitions state it "includes any remuneration or profit derived from employment". It would appear that on Paycircle this does not include the system generated Backdated Salary, but is included in the manually added "Backpay" element. As Backdated Salary is clearly a remuneration derived from employment can this please be corrected to ensure we are compliant with HMRC requirements?

We have raised this already but not been given any guidance on when this will be resolved.

Describe the Challenge Currently you have to manually add backpay and manually override the Student Loan and National Insurance figures to make sure these are accurate where backpay calculations can be split for new starters, this should be a task that can be automated.
