Read only view of team members details when they are on hold or when payroll is calculated

Currently, when a team member is on hold or when the payroll has been calculated, the employees data is hidden and non editable. This request is to make this data visible and read only keeping the restriction of edibility.

    Hi Diana,

Thank you for your response. We’ll be sure to include the new starters in our approach as well.

    Best regards,

    Hi Elena,

As much as this is helpful, I personally mainly have problem when checking the information of new starters, as they do not show as shown below. I always have to uncalculate to check if the information used for new starters are correct. It would be useful to be able to view it without uncalculating the payroll.

    Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for your feedback!

As we dive into your request, we understand that the detailed view of the work pattern and salary effective date for mid-month changes isn’t visible at the moment, and we’re looking into this. Meanwhile, all other relevant information is accessible in the Team area, as for example:

    1. NI Number and NI Category: Located in the Tax Status tab under the Team Member.
Navigation Path: Team > Select Team Member > Tax Status. (Visible in both situations Team Member on hold and Payroll calculated)

    2. Salary Value: Found under the Information tab in the Pay Information section.
Navigation Path: Team > Team Member > Information > Pay Information. (Visible in both situations Team Member on hold and Payroll calculated)

    3. Bank Details: Available in the Information tab under the Bank Details section. While changes to bank details aren’t flagged here, you can find details on the Bank details updates in the Alerts tab, as there is an alert that is triggered every time there is an update in the bank details. (Visible in both situations Team Member on hold and Payroll calculated)
Navigation Path: Payroll> Calculate Payroll > Alerts Tab

A question that comes to mind is whether you would find it helpful to receive alerts for address updates as well or any other updates that might be important during payroll run. If so, please detail.

Attached is an example of data visibility screenshots for a Team Member who is on hold.

Given this, we’d appreciate it if you could provide more details on your request. It seems we might be missing some specifics from the information you’ve shared.

    Thank you for your collaboration!

    Hi Yaz,

We find it problematic when checking payroll updates have been processed that don't come out on regular reports (e.g. changes to work patterns, mid period salary changes) but also if an employee contacts you to clarify something it is helpful to be able to review their full record to look at queries. You can't uncalculate a payroll just to look into something outside of the payroll run needs.

HI Yaz. I personally need to be able to view an employees working pattern when the payroll has been calculated when I am checking other peoples work. I have to uncalculate to view these currenty.

To check that changes, such as new address or new bank details have been entered, and not missed, would be useful.

Being able to quickly check information such as NI category, NI number, salary etc is useful when doing reviews on payrolls and when a client asks a Q.Having to calculate the payroll or check via reports seems a little archaic than just being able to check the employee base data in a view.

    Hi All

It would be great if you could share some specific examples here on what scenarios and what data you we're trying to view and why in the instance a payroll was calculated or the employee is on hold.

You're feedback will help us flesh out the ask and kick off a solution here 🙂
