Pay calculations for any payroll can be complex when taking into account the number of elements that can be in play, some of which can be statutory and include their own legislative requirements.
Currently, it's difficult to get a good understanding of what Paycircle is doing when calculating Tax, NIC, Pension etc if you don't agree with the resulting value.
For example, if I disagree with a pension contribution value, I cannot see what Paycircle is doing in the user interface - I have to try to reverse engineer the elements and values and manually calculate until I get to the same result as Paycircle.
This is time consuming and does not guarantee that I will get to the same result.
Display calculations directly in the Preview Pay Statement for all aspects of the payment (e.g., Tax, NIC, Pension), showing which elements are included and at which %'s so it's clear how Paycircle got to the result it did.
Quicker checking of the Pay Statement.
Easy identification of calculation output.
Easy identification of potential element misconfiguration.
