Previously, Group Admins could be assigned to workflow steps and approve workflow items. However, they did not receive any automated payroll emails (workflow-related or @ mentions). This issue was addressed by adding them as Company Admins and asking them not to register.
However, it does not make sense for Group Admins not to receive automated payroll emails. It is more efficient for Group Admins to be able to view and approve payroll items for all companies in the group.
Paycircle may have implemented this functionality, but the communication on this has been disappointing. Clarification is needed on how Group Admins can receive automated payroll emails for all companies in the group.

This really needs to be sorted as we are having to email our clients who are set up as group admins to ask them to check the notes or to complete their step on Paycircle which kind of defeats the whole point of workflow.
