It won't allow me to create a report that sorts by department and then surname in asceding order. Currently there is also no facility to give a grand total at the bottom for all departments if split (e.g. in Paycircle pay element report).
| Describe the Challenge | Very user friendly reports and will match other payroll software packages |
we're also having the same issues as already raised, where we want reports by department but then not able to have any sorting for employees so they are listed randomly within each department, means we have to export and sort ourselves in excel, not ideal
I think there should be the ability to add multiple layers to the sort in the same way as you can with "Custom Sort" in excel. So for example on a pension report, sort by "Pension Provider Name", then by "Surname" and then by "Forename". Would give the reports much more usability.
Would be sensible to be able to sort employees by surname and then first name, currently the reports can only be sorted by one field. This could lead to mistakes of payments.
