Many clients have a dual stage approval with an initial check done by the main payroll contact and then a secondary sense check approval by the FD or someone more senior.
It would greatly improve the UX if there was the ability at the payroll confirmation stage to allow for these types of scenarios:
Person 1 AND Person 2 AND Person 3
In this scenario it would need to go cyclically through each of the persons for them to sign off before coming back to the bureau to finalise.
Person 1 OR Person 2
In this scenario it's multiple people who can approve but we only need one of them to approve.
Person 1 OR Person 2 AND Person 3 or Person 4
In this scenario you would have one person from a pool of 2 people able to approval first and then one person from a second pool of two able to do the final approval.

Customer Challenge
Many clients need a final sign off at a senior level but that senior person isn't going to do most of the checking. Currently the reassigning process is very messy and also doesn't revert automatically at the end of a given pay run so if it finished with the FD/MD authorising the payroll then the next month it would go straight to them for approval. |

Business Case
Creates a far more robust approval process which many audits will require proof of to show best practice and fraud risk mitigation. |
