Future Pay Changes

We (HR) use the notes section to add pay changes for that specific month for our payroll team to process. Currently, we are unable to add notes for future months. Is there a way to add a notes for future months before that month begins?

We can add changes as soon as they come through and not have to store the information on a separate software.
