Pension changes from provider applied after calculating but before finalising

We need a way of tracking pension refunds that are applied between the payroll being calculated and run. We were under the misconception that one a payroll is calculated no other changes can be made without undoing it. It has now come to light that if a pension provider who you automatically upload your pension to, sends a refund through, it is applied even if the payroll has been calculated and there is no way of tracking this unless you keep copy of the net pay report when you calculate a payroll and then check the figure when you go back to process it after is has been approved. There is no report or flag that tells you the net pay has changed and Payrcircles response is 'to check the employee pay elements or compare other reports from before and after' to find the anomoly.

Describe the Challenge A report or flagging system needs to be put in place to warn of this, I have clients who get their payslips and net pay report who will say they approve them and use the first net pay report to make the payments as that is what they were asked to check
