Pension providers are tightening up on their validations in the portal. People's Pension are no longer going to process contributions made to people who have left the scheme.
This is an issue when making payments after leaving and the element used is pensionable. When you have a large payroll with hundreds of rows and data is being imported using standard pay codes, it is time consuming to take them out and use a different pay code that is set as non pensionable.
Please can you have a flag or do it automatically that if an employee has left employment that any payment made after they have left does not attract pension contribution. When an employee leaves they also leave the workplace pension scheme.
